His real name is Sonu, but he also goes by "Leather Man" for he creates the most amazing hand-tooled leather journals made from hand-pressed paper that is acid free. Not limited to leather, Sonu also crafts colorful journals and albums covered with sari fabric. Perfect for everything from writing daily to-do lists, recording of your innermost thoughts or preserving your treasured life photos and momentos, these journals and albums also make great sketchbooks or wedding guest books. They are made in only one small town in India and if you don't go there, you don't get the books. Fortunately, I return every year to visit Sonu, who I now simply call friend.
