One day Kelly Sobczak asked her boss for vacation. He said no. She said, “I quit.” What was to be a brief holiday turned into an 18-month solo adventure around the world during which she met amazing artisans who create unique handcrafts not found in typical retail shops. And she hasn’t looked back since.

From the tribal territory of Pakistan to the villages of Vietnam, Kelly travels each year in search of cool and distinctive fashion accessories and gift items. Old friends are revisited; new friends are made. She works directly with the artisans in the development of original products and the adaptation of local products to the Western market.
